  1. We delved into cool blue hues this month with our Coastal themed box. These colours are easily among my favourites, I adore cool and calming shades!
This colourway really showcases the marly felt shades we have in our collection which really soften the usual colour blocking of our felt bundles. This month's felt colours are Navy, Grey, Dove, Marl Grey, Teal, White, Turquoise and Marl Turquoise. Our die hard fans will be pleased to know that we will be continuing to stock all felt shadesdespite closing the majority of our craft shop. Our felt bundles are incredibly popular and have become a bit of a trademark for Pocket and Pin!
This month's fabric choice was from the 'Coastline' Range from Art Gallery. I definitely cut things a bit fine this month as this only arrived a week before dispatch due to delays with my supplier. It was worth the wait though and fits perfectly with the theme!

I could not resist the sparkly Seashell buttons when i found them, despite being the smallest component of the box they were definitely by biggest luxury this month but worth every penny!

All new subscribers last month got a free pair of polkadot embroidery scissors as a thank you for signing up, we've decided to extend the offer to this month too! Hurrah!
If you didn't already know we are having a MASSIVE clear out sale over in our craft shop! Almost everything is 40% off, so go grab a bargain quick!!

  2. We've been dreaming of Spring this month at Pocket and Pin HQ!
So to fit in with how we are feeling this month's Habdash Club box was a refreshing mix of spring time pastels and florals.  As always we've had such fun putting it together <3
We began with the felt colours this time and the rest of the theme took shape around them. All our felt is 30% wool and can be found in our craft shop. The colours we used were Cream, Meadow, Rose, Turquoise, White, Mint, Lemon and Lilac.  We then chose some fab Art Gallery fabric from the 'Gossamer' Range.

We used a bright Fuchsia Pink Cotton Lace to bring out the pink tones in the fabric as well as some Jumbo Ric Rac and some of our Cute Pom Pom Braid.
The Buttons this Month were a pretty mix of wooden FlowersLeavesButterfly's and lemon yellow flowers. These really finished off the Spring time theme perfectly. They would all be perfect for Easter makes and we hope they inspire you to get creating!
As always, if you are a subscriber we'd love to see what you make with your box of goodies. Just tag us and #myhabdash on social media.
You can get a similar version of this box as a one-off purchase over on our website or on Not on the High Street.

  3. A slightly belated Happy New Year to you all! We had a little break after Christmas to rest, recharge and re-organise after the festive mayhem!
January is always hard going to get motivated so luckily I planned this month's Habdash subscription box back in November, which, is unusually organised for me at the moment!
We couldn't let January pass without sending you a Valentine themed box in time for you to make some gifts or decorations for the next big day on the occasion calendar.
This was a tough one to plan as I didn't want to go all out Red so soon after Christmas (and our fabulous christmas box) So I sugared it up a bit with some pink tones and a hint of floral.
After a lot of deliberation I chose some pretty fabric from the 'Happy Home' range by Sew Caroline for Art Gallery Fabrics. As always you get one fat quarter and it is 100% premium light quilter's weight cotton. The felt choices this month were Red, Mustard, Cerise, Baby Pink, Cherry, Fawn and Marl Fawn. We added two lots of Cerise to really give that bright hit of Pink. The Mustard shade picks up the yellow in the fabric perfectly.
This month's trims include a metre each of super cute die cut heart shaped gingham, adorable! This would be a great adornment to cards and scrapbooking as well as sewing projects. We also chose some delicate pale pink cotton lace and a lovely thick woven heart ribbon.

This month's buttons included a selection of wooden hearts and flowers, painted floral and a pink polkadot heart. You will also find some cute heart shaped stickers which would be great on cards or gift tags.
Why not re-use the twine we wrap the box and felt in too?...We love the fact that everything in our boxes can be used, re-used and recycled. Including the box itself!

We have a limited number of these boxes now available via our Not on the High Street store front, to purchase as a one-off box or gift. This box is now exclusive to NOTHSand our Habdash subscribers and there's only a few left.
They would make a fab Valentines gift for a loved one or friend. Who says you have to give flowers or jewellery?! The way to my heart is definitely craft supplies!
If you are a craft blogger, we want to hear from you! We are looking for some fab crafty peeps to help spread the word about Habdash. In exchange you'll get a complimentary Habdash Box for you to review and create with and we will link up to your blog from ours too as well as promote on social media.

  4. December has been hectic but in a really good way! We prepared this month’s Habdash box ahead of schedule this month in order to get ahead of the last posting dates and in the hope that you will receive your boxes before Christmas.

The last two boxes have been full on festive in colour, reds, whites and silvers so this month I decided to go all out colourful with a New Year Celebration theme!
I found these cute little star beads that were the basis for the box, so everything had to match in with them!
The fabric is from the ‘Playing Pop’ range from Art Gallery and I adore it…I think I may make a version of this box for permanent sale on Not on the High Street!
The felt colours I used were Cerise, Mint, White, Baby Pink, Lilac, Dove, Lemon and Turquoise. Such fun colours! It couldn’t be a party box without some strung sequins and I added some bold colour with the Yellow Felt Ribbon and Pink Polkadot Ric Rac.
Add our usual spool of DMC thread and a sprinkling of confetti and Viola! We hope you enjoy this fun and playful box.
I will be taking a break from Sat 19th December until Sat 1st Jan to recharge and spend some all important quality time with my family. Our website will still be open but any orders placed will not be dispatched until Saturday 2nd January by first class post.
